Southeast Asian Industries

This capstone project delves into a crisis that many Southeast Asian hawker stall owners face today: the need to adapt to a digitalising market. This compelling animated cartoon illustrates how today's market is primarily conducted through social media and other digital platforms, consequently causing local stall owners to struggle with sales. By providing social media marketing tips to alleviate the 'digital illiteracy' that many hawkers have, this capstone project proposes an artful solution for the Southeast Asia’s hawker stall community to reach their peak again. Ultimately, through adaptation to digital marketing, this capstone project injects hope that Southeast Asia's Hawker community can boost their businesses and continue to provide their community with hawker culture and traditions.
