Modernisation of Agriculture in Southeast Asia

"Modernisation of Agriculture in Southeast Asia" considers the agritech industry in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia in the context of ASEAN's efforts to foster inter-regional cooperation and a more conducive start-up environment. The project briefly evaluates each country's agricultural context to show how prominent start-ups have added value through agritech innovation, and concludes by encouraging further collaboration between the public and private sectors to drive agritech innovation. Agriculture may be a millenia-old tradition, but agritech embodies the myriad possibilities that technology promises for progress.
